My congratulations go out to you both on this wonderful occasion! I remember when my wife and I got engaged, and how amazing it felt to present her with her lovely engagement ring. That was a very emotional day and is something we will both remember for the rest of our lives.

The engagement portraits are an integral part of many of my all-inclusive wedding collections, carefully designed to capture the romance and excitement of this amazing time, as well as the love the two of you share with each other.

This is not simply a basic portrait to be taken for the newspaper or for wedding announcements - it's much more than that! This is a photographic celebration of your decision to become married and spend the rest of your lives together. Everything Must Be Perfect!

We make sure we choose a day when the weather and light are just perfect, because these are going to be some of the most cherished and important photographs you will ever have taken together.

And it's so much fun, too! We arrange a time to get together with the two of you at a special location, such as a state park, down by the river, downtown Memphis, or the actual place where he proposed to you - the choice of location is entirely up to you.

This is a very informal and laid back photography session with, minimal posing, that lasts for several hours, allowing me to capture both your personalities and love for each other, in a relaxed setting.

Usually, we take several hundred photographs and then present you with only the very best images from which to choose wall portraits and finished prints. These photographs make excellent gifts for parents and grandparents, as well as for the newspaper and other announcements.

One of the real benefits of the engagement portrait session is that it allows the two of you to become acquainted to being photographed and to get used to the camera.

Not everyone is a natural model (myself included!) and you will soon learn that the best way to be in front of the camera is be natural and almost forget that I am there.
