My name is Nigel Merrick, and capturing wonderful family memories is what I devote my life to. I believe that to be really great at something, you have to focus on that one thing - and for me, that one thing is family photography. For the last 10 years, I’ve perfected my knowledge, style, and artistic expression through family photography, so although I do other types of photography as well, about 70% of all the photography I do is family photography.

This beautiful photograph of Kellie was made during an engagement session with her fiancee, Allen. We chose a lovely setting down by the Mississippi river in downtown Memphis to make use of this perfect background.
